Snake
SNAKE

Body so liquid
Eyes so divine
Muscles so knowing
For you to entwine.

Colors that glitter
Glistening gold
Oh snake, so enticing
A sight to behold.

Your tiny sharp teeth
Warn others away
You hunt in the ferns
At the end of the day.

Juicy warm morsels
Basted with hair
Lovingly swallowed
And no longer there.

Snake you are special
So sly and so bold
One of God's creatures
So we are told.
